We got a sailboat!

Our first trip with Settle Down

New Boat

We have been anxious to get our own boat to explore in the Pacific Northwest and it finally happened. Meet Settle Down, the sailboat! She is a Tayana Vancouver 42 and we are excited for the places she will take us. She was down in Olympia and so our first journey was from Olympia to Everett.

We decided to take a couple of days to enjoy the journey, stopping at Bainbridge Island for the night. The weather was gorgeous and we saw plenty of seals, porpoises, and jellyfish along the way. We have a lot to learn as we transition from owning powerboats to sailboats, but are excited for the challenge.

Lady Christine is a stunning Sea Ray Sundancer 510 that combines speed, comfort, and style, perfect for your next adventure on the Sound. With recent upgrades and plenty of luxurious features, she’s ready to make your time on the water truly unforgettable.  Click here to learn more and see photos.

Meet Monstro, a 1978 Chris-Craft Tournament Fisherman 254. She is 100% composite with no structural wood used anywhere. Take a look at all of the refinishing the current owner has done! Click here to learn more and see photos.

When buying or selling a boat, a crucial component is a boat survey. A boat survey is an in-depth inspection of a vessel’s condition, including its structure, systems, and overall safety. If you want to learn more about the process and how it benefits both buyers and sellers, you can read more here.
